About the team
The team, led by Elizabeth George, run complex, high value and high-profile employment and discrimination cases. The team also undertake various employment and trade union law head office work for the actors’ trade union, Equity.  

The team have recently secured a landmark win against a major UK retailer on an equal pay group claim and are currently in the process of preparing for the upcoming quantum and appeal phases of the case. 

The team currently consists of Elizabeth George, one associate solicitor, and two paralegals, however they also work closely with lawyers across our wider Employment group. 

About the role
We are seeking a driven and capable 3-6PQE (or equivalent) employment lawyer to join the team.  You will be involved in some of the most significant cases in the sector, including playing a pivotal role on the equal pay claim. This role will be integral to the upcoming quantum and appeal stages of the case, as well as supporting on other group and individual claims. 

We are open to candidates between 3 and 6PQE who can demonstrate strong experience with employment and discrimination litigation on either the claimant or respondent side, and ideally with prior exposure to group claims work. We are also keen to speak to barristers who may be open to transitioning to a career in a law firm.   

The role offers a high level of responsibility alongside excellent training and development opportunities, with close partner contact and mentoring.
