Rich Salisbury: Cycling injury specialist
Rich Salisbury is a sports rehabilitation specialist and professional bike fitter at Pedal Precision, based at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester. Additionally, he runs a charity supporting children affected by cancer, Cyclists Fighting Cancer.
In this episode, Anna Glowinski, a renowned cycling enthusiast and experienced presenter, is joined by Rich Salisbury, an expert bike fitter. Rich, who had cancer and lost lung and muscle capacity, made an impressive return to cycling.
Rich works with a diverse range of individuals, aiming to enhance their efficiency and comfort while cycling, including those individuals recovering post-collision. Dealing with numerous injuries, Rich is skilled at fitting bikes to support individuals in their journey back to riding.
Rich runs a cycling charity called Cyclists Fighting Cancer, helping children living with cancer or who have had cancer treatment. The charity provides bicycles to children to help them become independent and improve their mental well-being through exercise.
