Communities and Contamination: Call to Action event
We are bringing together leading academics, NGOs, lawyers, environmental experts and community voices to highlight the issue of chemical contamination, and crucially, to explore how affected communities can take meaningful action. Please join us at our panel discussion event.
Chemical contamination is not a distant or abstract problem - it's here, in our communities. From the post-industrial legacy in Corby and Newcastle-under-Lyme, to growing evidence of PFAS pollution across Yorkshire and Lancashire, the burden of contamination is becoming impossible to ignore.
Leigh Day's Environmental Team are pleased to invite you to an in-person panel event on Thursday 2 October, 2:30pm to 5:30pm in Leeds City Centre.
We are bringing together leading academics, NGOs, lawyers, environmental experts and community voices to highlight the scale and scope of the issue, and crucially, to explore how affected communities can take meaningful action.
After the panel, stay for a networking and drinks reception - an opportunity to connect, share ideas, and build momentum for change.
