To secure your spot, we invite you to complete our application form. We're excited to learn more about you and your interests within the law. Please answer the following question in no more than 300 words.

If you were elected as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and had the opportunity to create a new law to address a specific issue, what would it be, and why do you think it is important for society?

Keep your response simple and clear, and remember to consider the values and principles that matter to you. Let your passion for positive change shine through your words and express yourself confidently and thoughtfully.

When crafting your response, consider the following guidelines:   

  1. Choose an Issue: Think about a problem or concern that matters to you, whether it's a global issue like climate change or a personal issue like cyberbullying.
  2. Propose a Law: Imagine a new law that could address the issue you have chosen. Keep it simple and consider how it could make a positive impact. Think about recent news or social media discussions that have caught your attention.
  3. Explain Why: Share the reasons why you believe this law is essential. Highlight the benefits it would bring, the problems it would solve, or the injustices it would address. Connect it to your values and the impact it would have on society.
  4. Write It Down: Express your thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Use easy language and provide examples or personal experiences to support your ideas. Make your answer reflect your unique perspective and insights.

Once you have crafted your answer, please submit your application form by 9am on Thursday, 10th August 2023. Spaces are limited, so early applications are strongly encouraged.
