Rosio is a group litigation and competition law specialist working in the international and group litigation department
Rosio is a group litigation and competition law specialist working in the international and group litigation department where she focuses on water pollution claims and complex competition collective claims.
Rosio was part of the team bringing the first ‘environmental’ collective action against water and sewage companies at the Competition Appeals Tribunal. She is currently working on Leigh Day's group claim against Avara and Cargill for pollution of the River Wye as a result of their intense poultry farming operation. Rosio is also representing wild-swimmer Jo Bateman in her claim against South West Water for sewage discharges on Exmouth beach.
Prior to joining Leigh Day, Rosio worked in-house as a competition policy specialist at Meta (formerly Facebook) helping the company to prepare and respond to new digital competition legislation both at the EU and UK level, most notably, the European Digital Markets Act.
Rosio qualified as a Solicitor at regulatory specialist law firm Towerhouse LLP where she advised clients in the telecoms, payment services, energy and aviation sector in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Education: Rosio holds a postgraduate diploma in Economics for Competition Law from Kings College London and an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics.
