Robin Selley
Senior litigation executive
Robin Selley is a senior litigation executive in the personal injury department.
Robin joined Leigh Day in July 2019 from Box Legal, where he worked In House for an ATE insurer where he helped develop their expanding legal team, assisting personal injury firms across all areas of their business and insurance needs.
Legal expertise
Robin initially started his long career in the law when working for a firm of Parliamentary Agents before moving into personal injury where he now has a wealth of experience.
Robin has worked with high value and serious injury claims, across the range of road traffic collisions, employers/public liability, occupational disease and health and safety prosecutions.
Robin’s recent caseload has included cases such as;
- A cyclist who suffered severe facial injuries following a collision with a right turning vehicle;
- A number of cyclists who suffered injury when a car driver turned across their path when out on a training ride;
- A cyclist who suffered injury as a result of a driver’s alleged “punishment braking”;
- A cyclist tragically killed by a motorist who drove their car onto the wrong side of the road.
Robin loves to riding his bicycle and regularly takes part in Sportives around the UK, travelling as far as Loch Ness to do just that. As well as extensive legal experience in Road Traffic Collisions, Robin genuinely understands the need for the protection of cyclists and vulnerable road users and is a member of both British Cycling and Cycling UK.
Now regularly commuting around London and more likely to be found on a smaller wheeled folding bike, Robin still tries to find the time to complete numerous cycling charity rides and other events, including Revolve24 and London to Paris which he has completed on multiple occasions.
