Meg Abbott
Trainee Solicitor
Meg is a trainee solicitor in the International and Group Claims department. She started her training contract with Leigh Day in September 2022. She works in Sapna Malik’s team and is supervised by Melanie Jacques.
Prior to joining Leigh Day, Meg worked in family law, specialising in public children and domestic abuse cases. She then worked for a Kenyan based charity which focused on reducing gender-based-violence in rural Western Kenya.
Education
Meg read Law at Newcastle University. She then went on to complete a LLM in Legal Practice.

Meg is a member of the social-mobility committee.
