Legal internships

I am afraid at present we don’t have any work experience schemes in place; however, we are working on implementing a scheme in the future. Please continue to check this page for updates.

We believe that the work we do, and the people we help, place us in a unique position within the legal community, and that social mobility and diversity should be encouraged in the career opportunities that we offer.

The barriers to entering the legal profession do not start at the stage of becoming a trainee solicitor or a paralegal, and we recognise the importance of gaining work experience in helping to address some of the barriers, particularly for those groups that are underrepresented in the legal community.

Although open to all, these internships aim to provide a real learning experience for those who are from these underrepresented groups, who have a commitment to pursuing a career in claimant litigation and will be prioritised accordingly.

You should be in further education and should demonstrate an interest in law.

What can you expect?

Experiences and exposure may vary depending on your host team and their caseloads/ case types, but where possible, you could typically expect:

  • Two week placement in our London office
  • Shadowing senior fee-earning solicitors on day-to-day activities
  • Undertaking case-specific legal research
  • Providing some legal administrative support
  • Visits to court hearings

We don't have any opportunities available at present, however please check back soon for future updates. Please note the team are unfortunately unable to respond to speculative work experience/internship enquiries.
